Michael has always wanted to build something fun. He studied architecture in college and continues to appreciate building and design despite not going into the profession.
The idea for turning a BART train car into a house came about around 2018 when he learned that the Legacy Fleet was going to be decommissioned. It took a couple years to complete a proposal process, find land and obtain permits but he and his architect are excited to have broken ground!
By day, Michael works in finance. He and his wife live in Northern California with their two teenage boys. Michael enjoys cooking, history, and creative projects of all sorts. He also became a certified USA Archery Level 3-NTS coach to support his sons, who compete in Barebow and Recurve Archery.
