Brent Underwood is an American entrepreneur and the owner of Cerro Gordo Mines, a historic silver mining town established in 1865. 1 He purchased the town in 2018 with plans to develop it into an artist destination while preserving its historical character. Underwood is also the creator of "GhostTownLiving," a YouTube channel where he documents his life and adventures in Cerro Gordo. In 2024, he released a book titled "Ghost Town Living: Mining for Purpose and Chasing Dreams at the Edge of Death Valley," chronicling his experiences living in the remote town.
